What is PM-KISAN Scheme?

Farming completely depends on weather conditions. Sometimes excess rainfall, drought, hailstorm, or pest and disease attacks cause crop loss. To protect farmers from such losses, the government introduced Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY).
